There are definitely some things I miss now that I'm gluten free. One of them being pasta. It took me awhile to find a pasta that I liked. This meal is filling and easy to make!
Ingredients
1 lbs. Lean ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 tsp oil
1 tsp minced garlic
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 15 oz can diced tomatoes
Salt
Pepper
1 tsp. Oregano
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 box gluten free pasta
Directions
In a large sauce pan, heat up olive oil over medium high heat. Add onions and garlic. Stir until onions become translucent. Add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and stir, breaking it up into small pieces. Once the ground beef has no pink, add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, and seasonings. Once it has come to a boil, lower heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
While the sauce is cooking, make the gluten free pasta according to the box. Drain the pasta.
Place a spoonful of pasta on your serving plate with a ladle of meat sauce. Serve warm with your favorite cheese on top.
